I enjoy many of the Bard's tragedies but not this one.
Sure, there were a few biting lines (on the Queen's rapid remarriage: the remainders from the funeral repast reheated for the wedding banquet - using the same plates).
However, I found the interminable dithering of the young prince excruciating. Also, I didn't find the plot or life lesson's revealed up to the standard of the Bard's other three great tragedies (King Lear, Macbeth, Othello).
Go with one of these other three before bothering with Hamlet.
